Stalingrad Attacked
Therefore, Germany has attacked Stalingrad? what was so impotent that city?
I think it was so far south of Russia when they were relatively Closer to the capital … Moscow … but they marched toward Stalingrad instead of tiring yo March to Moscow. I know it was a large industrial city on the Volga River and all crap they resulted in wikipedia … it is still not a good enough reason to … they lost the war over the city … so it must have been some major swoon … Sydney P: I did and apparently Yahoo reply spelling chacker makes spelling mistakes
There is a reason why they wanted Stalingrad at any cost: the name itself. Nothing else. They? Nope. The German High Command had very different plans. The problem was that all these highly educated colonels, generals and guards had to obey a dunce Cpl. Stalingrad had some strategic value as a gateway to the Caucasus. But not enough to sacrifice an army. Had they put in the same effort in capturing Moscow, it would have been worth it. But the corporal had different plans.
