Malvern Hill
Where is the best area of Malvern Hills to visit? How do I get it from Birmingham?
I'm going to Malvern Hills over the weekend, but not really know How to reach them, or where the nicer areas. Does anyone know of a particularly nice area?
I think Malvern is little more than two miles long
Assuming you are traveling by train, you can get there, either from New Street or Moor Street stations. The trip takes about 45 minutes. It is a pretty small station. The station is not far from downtown, and you can be atop the highest mountain in the chain Worcestshire Beacon, in about an hour or two – depending on your conditioning. Tourist Office will sell you a map of the entire chain of hills on the 1:25,000 scale (maybe less). It is a really good way to navigate, but makes the map not include much in the way of detail of towns / villages skirting the hills. It is a great place to go, and you can even get free Malvern mineral water from a tap beside way.
