How would you say to the Congress of Vienna in 1815 would react?

If they read the book called Europe the 1900s. Read that a murder of an Archduke European empires would crumble. Engulfing Europe into a war not seen since the French invasion, with another following far more horrific the Holocaust on the Jews. Closing the European continent, left to the fate of a North American power and Eurasia power armed with weapons that harness the power of the sun. You think Monarchs would believe or not?

Vienna Congress intended to maintain the status quo in Europe before 1789 – this meant to overthrow Napoleon Bonaparte and the restoration of the French Bourbon dynasty under Louis XVIII – brother of the beheaded King Louis XVI. Congress wanted to maintain the "real kings' – the ancien regime in which the monarchy was responsible only to God – divine right of kings – as the French Revolution had undermined. The Vienna Congress also established the association of German states and Austria tried to maneuvers himself as a proponent and defender of German law. I dont think that really the course of history would have changed much, although the Vienna Congress was aware of events who would develop – war in Europe, and competition between nations was inevitable, and it undermined the Congress of Vienna from the beginning. But like everything time marches on. The same Congress of Vienna, who came together to stop Napoleon and the status quo, had died in 1855. The new threat was not France – but now the Imperial Russia and her Tsar Nicholas II, who was one of the very stone base to preserve the status quo in Europe. Soon Europe – United Kingdom, France, Austria and Turkey joined together to stop the Russian expansion in the Crimea. While the major European powers were to prevent an expansion of one of his former allies, was another power emerging in Europe – Prussia. With the sucessful wars against Denmark and Austria, Prussia continued to provoke France for a war in 1871. The resulting crowning of the Prussian King Wilhelm 1 as the German emperor sat last of the Congress of Vienna's goal – the German Confederation – to rest. A united Germany under Prussian – not Austrian rule, which now prevailed.
