How many of you have ever heard of the Battle of Hue City?
Anyone here remember this game?? By chance you happen to have equal access to the site "battle for Hue City," I was only at the MACV Command, which later was 18 I managed to get to the tarmac, where last time I was shot through the brain … and then remember my famous Sieko Watch stopped around 11 a / m. .. that messed up Sunday someone is interested in the details as I recall 40 years.?
January 31-March 2 – At the Battle of Hue during Tet, 12,000 NVA and Viet Cong troops storm the lightly defended historical city, then begin systematic executions of over 3000 "enemies of the people "including South Vietnamese government officials captured, South Vietnamese officers, Catholic priests. South Vietnamese soldiers and three U.S. Marine battalions counter-attack and engage in the heaviest fighting of the entire Tet Offensive. They retake the old imperial city, house by house, street by street, aided by American air and artillery strikes. On 24 February, U.S. Marines occupy the Imperial Palace in the heart of the castle and the battle soon ends with a North Vietnamese defeat.
